So yeah, been a bit busy here lately and I’m neglecting my friends and their mixes…
But the cave is in two days, and I have to get this stuff up and running so they can promote! So first up we’ve got DJ Claycon’s Bacteria. Clay’s first official DnB release, it’s definitely worth the listen.

Synthetic Nature - Double Feature
Okay guys, got a little D&B for you today, a double feature from my friend Synthetic Nature. I’ve known this kid since before he ever had his first dreams of caressing a turntable platter. To be completely honest, I’ve yet to have a chance to listen to these mixes, so I can’t say anything good or bad about them yet… but I know what this guy was capable of a couple years back when he was throwing down tracks using nothing more than tracktor on his computer, so I can tell you that with his recent growth and his refined taste over these years, it’s bound to be good. As soon as I get a few free hours, I’ll write up a true review for you all.

Somehow I predicted this, it was just a matter of time in all honesty. Louisville has always had some of the great tag team DJs out there, so no surprise Emce and Claycon decided to throw down a break mix as Da Riddim Warriors. A damn good mix if I must say so…
You can catch Emce this Friday at Petrus on Main Street in Louisville, and you can catch both these guys at the pink door after the fireworks on Thunder night… Don’t miss what will probably be the best after party for Louisville’s biggest party of the year.

Oh my… have I neglected this site…
I’ve got a ton of new stuff coming up in the next couple weeks, including DJ Claycon and DJ Emce, who will have mixes up TODAY!
And Electro fans rejoice, Kill the Noise, LA Riots, and Bryan Hyde will all have remixes being thrown up in the next few weeks.
Also got a fairly mainstream DnB mix from DJ Wickid out of Dallas TX that I’m debating throwing up here just because it’s a genre I often neglect… we’ll see.
DJ Emce - My Nigga is a Real Life DJ
Finally I get to put up some local stuff. DJ Emce is a friend of mine from up in Louisville who just recently started performing live gigs, but is already performing fairly regularly at Petrus night club in Louisville, and has a gig coming up on August 24th in Memphis at the The Full Moon Club with Stargazer Productions.
This mix is a hard hitting breaks mix, with the likes of DJ Icey, Breakfastaz, Staton Warriors and more… It’s a hell of a selection that’s sure to get you out of your seat. Most of the time when you throw this many big names in a mix, it usually ends up sounding like a rehash of too many overplayed songs, but the track selection is unique and invigorating… and I have to give him props on that.
It’s always nice to see a new face behind the decks, and I encourage everyone to get out and see DJ Emce if you’re ever in the area.

Oops, already late getting a post out there… but hey, it’s still Sunday somewhere in the US
He’re is a beautiful minimal mix recorded in a single take just before easter this year. The track selection is absolutely fantasmical (I figured I needed a new word to describe it) with works by Cirez D (aka Eric Prydz) and LCD soundsystem and vocals from Goldfrapp and that chick from Everything but the Girl. A perfect mix for those akward times when you’re not exactly sure if it’s late night or early morning.
Francis Mallison is from London… and is part of the production duo Crunch. He performs across most of the UK and Eastern Europe. If you’d like more information on Mallinson, send me an email and I’ll get the information out to you.
