He’re is a beautiful minimal mix recorded in a single take just before easter this year. The track selection is absolutely fantasmical (I figured I needed a new word to describe it) with works by Cirez D (aka Eric Prydz) and LCD soundsystem and vocals from Goldfrapp and that chick from Everything but the Girl. A perfect mix for those akward times when you’re not exactly sure if it’s late night or early morning.

GregJ - Live at Ruby Skye
Another GregJ mix, because people have said such great things about the last one. This one is almost purely breaks and less mashup. It was recorded live at the DJ Icey Y4K tour when it stopped at Ruby Skye.
I realized I didn’t give much info about GregJ last time… hey it was my first post so cut me a little slack. GregJ is based out in San Francisco where he has a residency at Whisper, Icon Ultra Lounge, Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge, and Blend, all out in the Bay Area… AKA, this guy stays busy. Oh did I mention he runs Funky Cactus records too?

Today we have a nice tech-house mix with a hint of funkiness. I must admit I was a little worried when this mix started out with Tiga, as I’m not a fan of his production work, but I was pleasantly surprised. This will be on loop in my CD player in my car, at least for the weekend.

Hey guys, MixedBeatz.com is proud to announce it’s official site launch today on 6/21/07… the site is still no where near the community it will be when everything is said and done, but we’ve got a basic framework right now to build off of over the next few months.
This first group of artists comes to us from across the pond, a french tag team known as Busy P and Justice. This mix is a show they did for Good for Nothing Radio, and is Glitchy, techie electro house at it’s finest. I wish I had a tracklist for this, but I don’t… just know that if you like electro house, this is a 3 hour long mix that will leave you screaming for more.

DJ Firewire - Elektro Fun
Basically highlights the songs you’d want to hear from house music in 2006… so it’s a little dated at this point, but still one of my favorite mixes. DJ Firewire recorded this in his home studio in Vancouver Canada, where he is quickly becoming on of the regions top talents. He is also known world wide through his internet radio broadcasts for his perfectly planned song picks and his flawless mixing. This is actually a step away from the hardcore, freestyle and gabber that he normally spins… but yet he does it so well.
